  2. cookies analytics are assimilated to technical cookies when used directly by the Webmaster to collect information, in aggregate form, on the number of users and how they visit the Site, with a view to improving site performance;
  3. functionality cookies allow the user to perform browsing activities according to a series of selected criteria (for example, the language) in order to improve the service rendered thereto. Users are not required to give their consent for the installation of these cookies (more information is provided in the ‘Managing cookies’ section below).
  4. Profiling cookies are aimed at creating user profiles and are used to transmit advertising messages in line with the preferences expressed by users in their browsing activity.

Users are required to give their consent to the installation of profiling cookies and are always free to authorize or deny their consent to the installation of profiling cookies.

– First-party and third-party cookies
Cookies can be defined as first- or third-party, whereby “first party” cookies are directly stored by the domain (website) you are visiting while third party cookies are created by domains other than the one you are visiting directly, hence the name third-party.

Third party cookies are necessarily installed by a “third party” and are not managed or controlled by the Site, which means that they can neither be directly installed or deleted by the Website.
